At WWDC 2024, Apple shook the tech world with a series of important new announcements related to artificial intelligence (AI). Apple introduced Apple Intelligence, a personalized AI experience deeply integrated into its devices, using generative AI to improve the user experience on iPhones, iPads, and Macs.

Apple Intelligence is known to offer new ways for users to improve their writing skills and communicate more effectively. With the all-new Writing Tools integrated into iOS 18, users can rewrite, proofread, and summarize text virtually anywhere they write, including Mail, Notes, Pages, and third-party apps.

According to the annual schedule, the new generation of iPhones and iOS will be launched and sold in September. However, according to journalist Mark Gurman, Apple seems to be delaying the launch of Apple Intelligence until October to allow more time for bug fixes.

Apple Intelligence is expected to be made available to software developers for the first time with the first beta of iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1.

Last month, Apple warned that its AI features could be delayed due to European Union (EU) regulations making it difficult to roll out to EU users because of regulatory inconsistencies in the EU's Digital Markets Act (DMA).
