A week after releasing iOS/iPadOS 18 beta 7, Apple has released beta 8 and it seems to focus only on fixing the remaining bugs.
According to 9to5mac, the build number for iOS 18 beta 8 is 22A5350a. Apple's new software version will be finalized in the fall, at which point it will be released to compatible iPhone models.
Journalist Mark Gurman has reported that iOS 18 beta 8 is the final version until the iPhone 16 launches on September 9.
Currently iOS 18 beta 8 is only for developers. To update iOS 18 beta 8 and iPadOS 18 beta 8, developers need to access the Settings app - Software Update - Beta Update - Activate iOS 18/ iPadOS 18 Developer Beta.
Note: The Apple ID needs to be associated with a developer account.
Besides, because this is still a trial version, when updating, users' devices may encounter some errors such as application conflicts or battery drain.
