Apple is about to launch new iMacs and MacBook Pros.

According to The Verge , Gurman said that if you're trying to order an iMac, a 13-inch MacBook Pro, or one of the higher-end Pro models, some configurations won't ship until November. Gurman believes this information, combined with Apple's upcoming earnings report in November, is a clear indication that something is going on at the company. The last time Apple delayed discussing quarterly earnings was also around the time the company held its announcement of new Macs and iPads.

Apple is finally ready to unveil the new iMac and 13-inch MacBook Pro after a long wait.

According to Gurman, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models were refreshed in January, so they may still have a release date in 2024. Meanwhile, the 13-inch MacBook Pro and iMac models are in their third year.

Regarding the next MacBook, Gurman stated that users shouldn't expect significant differences beyond the processor and "minor display improvements" in the new products. However, he indicated that the new iMac Pro launching in 2025 and the subsequent OLED MacBook Pro in 2026 could bring updated designs and features.

Guram also did not specify which type of chip will be equipped in the upcoming Mac models. Previously, he predicted that Apple would bring the new iMac with an undisclosed M3 chip.
