On the evening of May 3rd, the Gia Lai Provincial Police, in coordination with relevant units, were urgently investigating the case of a mother and her two children who died inside a house that had been locked from the inside.
Local authorities are appealing for donations to help organize the funerals for the victims.Earlier, on the afternoon of May 3rd, Ms. N. (born in 2005, residing in Hamlet 5, Ia Bang Commune, Dak Doa District) returned home to find her house locked from the inside.
After managing to open the door and enter the house, Ms. N. discovered her two younger siblings, a girl named T. (born in 2019) and a boy named N. (born in 2020), lying dead on the bed with foam coming from their mouths.
Going down to the kitchen, Ms. N. discovered that her mother, Ms. KT (born in 1980), had died by hanging.
Upon receiving the report, the Gia Lai Provincial Police arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the incident and conduct a post-mortem examination.
On May 4th, representatives from the People's Committee of Ia Bang commune, Dak Doa district, visited and offered condolences to the victim's family in Hamlet 5, while also appealing to philanthropists for additional financial support to ensure a proper funeral.
A representative from the Ia Bang Commune People's Committee added that Mrs. T.'s family is in difficult circumstances, consisting of five people, with the couple working as laborers in a wood factory. Previously, the couple had experienced conflict.
The cause of the incident is still being investigated and clarified by the police in accordance with the law.
