Bac Ha puts two centralized slaughterhouses into operation

New centralized slaughterhouse invested in Bac Ha town.

Two slaughterhouses invested by households on a small scale basically meet the demand for centralized slaughter in Bac Ha town and some neighboring communes.

The facility in Nam Cay village, Bac Ha town has an area of over 300m2 , serving about 12 households participating in slaughtering, with a capacity of 20 - 25 pigs/day.

The facility in Na Kim village, Ta Chai commune has an area of over 200m2 , serving 8 households participating in slaughtering, with a capacity of 10 - 15 pigs/day.

The initial operation of two small-scale centralized slaughterhouses will help ensure local slaughter management, while contributing to ensuring disease prevention and food safety control in the area.
