Bac Ninh warns of level IV forest fire risk.

According to the weather forecast from the Bac Ninh Meteorological and Hydrological Station and the monitoring data from the Bac Ninh Provincial Forest Protection Department, as of May 28, 2026, the weather in the province will be cloudy (with localized hot weather), with low relative humidity ranging from 45% to 63%. Forest fire risk levels at level IV (Dangerous) are currently observed in the communes and wards.

To effectively prevent and control forest fires and minimize damage caused by them, the Forest Protection Department requests that the Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level and the Commune Forest Fire Prevention and Control Command directly supervise fire prevention and control activities in their localities; proactively inspect and urge forest owners and relevant forces to fully implement fire prevention and control measures as prescribed.

Forest owners and rangers regularly conduct strict inspections in key fire-prone areas. People are strictly prohibited from burning undergrowth to prepare land for reforestation, from clearing undergrowth to reduce flammable materials, and from using fire in or near forests during peak hot weather periods when the risk of forest fires is high.

Forest fire control checkpoints have been set up in many localities to prevent the risk of fire.

The patrol force must be constantly present in watchtowers and in the forest field, ensuring 12/24 hour duty (from 9 am to 9 pm daily), especially during peak hours (from 11 am to 7 pm), promptly detecting fires, raising the alarm, and mobilizing forces and equipment to extinguish them immediately.

In cases exceeding the control capacity of the commune level, the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee must promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fire Prevention and Control Command to mobilize forest fire fighting efforts. Regularly update and promptly disseminate information on forest fire risk forecasts and warnings through mass media; provide daily information on forest fire risk forecast levels and the local forest fire situation so that people can proactively take preventive measures.

When a forest fire occurs, it is necessary to urgently mobilize forces and resources to extinguish the fire as quickly as possible; at the same time, organize an investigation to determine the cause of the fire, track down the perpetrators, and strictly punish them according to the law.
