Despite weight limit signs being placed on the right bank of the Duong River, hundreds of trucks still enter and exit concrete companies in Tri Qua and Thuan Thanh wards every day.
With no protective barriers and materials scattered everywhere… Living right next to this road, many households have to keep their doors closed all day to avoid dust and noise.

Just a few kilometers from the residential area, along the riverbank, are numerous concrete mixing plants and sand and gravel storage yards belonging to six companies located on the border between two wards. From these points, trucks constantly enter and exit, spreading across the dike, inter-village roads, and residential areas. Notably, among the facilities operating in this area, some units have not yet been licensed.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Khuong, Acting Head of the Economic and Infrastructure Department of Tri Qua Ward People's Committee, Bac Ninh province, authorities have rectified the situation at the depots and yards regarding inspection and protection measures to prevent dust pollution caused by vehicles leaving the depots and yards along the roads. Simultaneously, inspections of transport vehicles operating on these routes have been intensified.

Many residents reported that the dust and noise problem has persisted for months. What they are hoping for now is a swift and decisive solution to the issue of large trucks entering and exiting the area. The continued movement of these trucks day and night along the dike and roads within the residential area not only affects their health but also poses a significant traffic safety risk.
