Tourists return to Bai Sau in large numbers. |
Specifically, garbage began to appear en masse in the Back Beach area, Vung Tau City from the afternoon of May 25, stretching for more than 3km, from the area opposite Phan Chu Trinh Street to Nguyen An Ninh Street. The main type of garbage is water hyacinth. Vung Tau Urban Construction and Environmental Services Joint Stock Company (VESCO) has mobilized human resources, vehicles, and organized continuous collection throughout the past week to return the beach to a clean and beautiful place to serve tourists.
Thanks to the efforts of functional units, businesses and volunteer teams, Bai Sau has now become clean and beautiful again. The patches of water hyacinth that once covered the water surface have now completely disappeared, returning the clear blue sea and long stretches of golden sand.
Bai Sau beach was completely clean and beautiful, attracting many tourists to come and have fun and swim last weekend. |
According to local authorities, during the first weekend of June, the number of visitors to Vung Tau City returned to normal.
Although the water hyacinth drifting incident is a natural phenomenon that occurs every year, it has had a significant impact on the city’s tourism environment. What reassures residents and tourists is the quick and effective response of the government and related forces.
