Hoa Phat started construction of workers' housing and social housing project worth nearly 5,000 billion VND

Hoa Phat Group has started construction of a worker housing and social housing project in Yen My II Industrial Park, Hung Yen province, including 27 apartment buildings and 250 commercial townhouses with a scale of nearly 5,000 billion VND.

On a land fund of 31 hectares, the project will develop 27 apartment buildings with about 9,000 apartments, 250 commercial townhouses along with a system of utilities and social infrastructure, providing accommodation for workers in Yen My II Industrial Park, industrial parks in Hung Yen province and local people.

Delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony for the worker housing and social housing project at Yen My II Industrial Park.

The project is located in Yen My commune, adjacent to Yen My II industrial park, adjacent to National Highway 39A and Provincial Road DT.200, 6 km from National Highway 5A.

This is an important traffic connection point of the area, only 4 km from the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway intersection, convenient for traveling to Hai Phong seaport and key economic centers of the North. The project location is 30 km from the center of Hanoi and 25 km from Gia Binh international airport.

A synchronous transport infrastructure system helps shorten travel time, while facilitating trade and attracting investment.

According to the plan, the workers' housing area, social housing area, and Yen My II industrial park include 27 apartment buildings with a maximum height of 11 floors with a total floor area of nearly 580,000 m2. The apartments have an area of 36 to 70 m2, arranged with 1 to 3 bedrooms. The commercial townhouse area with a maximum height of 5 floors is built on an area of over 2.3 hectares.

The investor reserved about 1.9 hectares for the central park axis, integrating children's playground, jogging track, square, sports area, camping area, BBQ and lake.

The pedestrian street is arranged along low-rise buildings, while each apartment complex is arranged with community living spaces such as a community library, playground, walking path and convenient services for residents.

Social infrastructure includes a cultural house of over 2,000 m2, medical services of nearly 6,000 m2, a school of 11,200 m2 and a commercial service area of over 4,500 m2.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the project of workers' housing and social housing in Yen My II Industrial Park is an important milestone in the development process of the province, and at the same time demonstrates the joint efforts of the government, businesses and people for the goal of social security for workers.

The project meets the need for stable and convenient housing, helps workers settle down, increases labor productivity and directly contributes to economic growth. Hung Yen province will continue to create favorable conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Mr. Tran Kien Cuong, Director of Hoa Phat Yen My Urban Development Joint Stock Company, shared that the project of workers' housing and social housing in Yen My II industrial park is a specific step of Hoa Phat in response to the Government's program to develop at least 1 million social housing apartments by 2030.

Hoa Phat commits to implementing on schedule, ensuring quality and technical standards, creating a modern living environment with synchronous utilities, meeting the long-term housing needs of workers in industrial parks and local residents.

With the support of authorities at all levels and functional agencies, when the project is completed, it will contribute to infrastructure development and socio-economic promotion in Hung Yen.

According to schedule, the first apartment buildings will be completed and handed over for use in June 2027, contributing to solving urgent housing needs and improving the quality of life of workers in industrial parks and local people.
