Previously, the company supported 100,000 square meters of roofing sheets for areas heavily affected by storms and floods, with the hope of helping people and authorities stabilize their lives soon after natural disasters.

The gifts were given directly by Hoa Phat Group to two areas that suffered heavy damage: Hoa Xuan commune and Dong Hoa ward. These are areas that were deeply flooded, many households lost all their household items, and their houses were severely damaged after the storm and flood.

Speaking at the awarding ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, expressed his thanks to the Board of Directors and all officers and employees of Hoa Phat Group in general and Hoa Phat Phu Yen Company in particular. According to Mr. Van, during the rescue phase, the company's forces actively coordinated with the locality to transport goods, support evacuation and provide necessities to help people. When the water receded, Hoa Phat's roofing sheets and household appliances arrived in time, helping many people quickly restore their homes.

"After the historic flood, most of the people's household items were swept away and severely damaged. Therefore, the rice cookers and electric kettles given at this time are extremely practical. As soon as the power grid is restored, people will have the utensils to cook hot meals, ensure their health and continue to rebuild their lives," said Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee.

Also on this occasion, the Group's delegation presented 102 sets of computers and 32 TV screens to share the difficulties with units that suffered damage to their facilities. The equipment will be handed over directly to Tran Phu Primary School, Hoa Xuan Dong Kindergarten, the Health Station and the People's Committee of Hoa Xuan Commune, supporting teachers, doctors and commune officials to soon have the means to work and serve the people.

Ms. Hoang Cam Tu, Communications Director of Hoa Phat Group, said: "The gifts are the sharing of 30,000 employees of the Group, helping people to soon stabilize their lives and overcome difficulties after natural disasters and floods."

“The water was up to the roof, all the property in the house was damaged. Everything like furniture, clothes, food were lost. After the flood receded, my family still could not fully recover. In the first days after the flood, villagers came to help, providing food for the family. However, overcoming the financial damage is still very difficult, because we almost lost all our property. I am very grateful and touched to receive the timely attention and support from Hoa Phat Group. These are all essential items that our people really need," said Ms. Dang Thi Diep, a resident of Hoa Xuan commune.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nap, Hoa Xuan commune expressed: "My family's economy mainly depends on land, but currently, the land is seriously affected, unable to cultivate. We have lost everything, no more buffaloes, no more furniture. With the gifts Hoa Phat gave, I believe that we, the residents of Hoa Xuan commune, all really like and are grateful to the Group. Thank you Hoa Phat".

With the tradition of mutual love and support, "Harmony and development together", all officers and employees of the Group also voluntarily contributed one day's salary to share with people in the flood-hit areas, spreading the spirit of solidarity, towards the Central and Central Highlands regions.

Linking development with community benefits, Hoa Phat always focuses on implementing corporate social responsibility, focusing on four areas: Health, education, transportation and community. Currently, the Group is operating and contributing to the budget in 20 provinces and cities across the country. In the first nine months of 2025, Hoa Phat has paid more than VND 9,400 billion to the State budget.

In parallel with production and business activities, each year Hoa Phat spends hundreds of billions of VND on social programs, typically: Building 1,500 houses for poor households in many localities; supporting the construction and reconstruction of dozens of houses completely collapsed due to storm Yagi in Lang Nu and some communes of Lao Cai province; sponsoring more than 40 billion VND to build schools in Binh Dong (Quang Ngai); donating more than 300 water purifiers to schools and medical facilities nationwide, etc.
