Vietnam Airlines transports free goods to support people in flood-hit areas of Central Vietnam

From now until December 31, goods to support flood victims will be prioritized for loading and free transportation on Vietnam Airlines Group flights.

The Office of the People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued an Official Dispatch on receiving and transporting free of charge goods to support people in the flood-hit areas of the Central region from Vietnam Airlines .

On November 21, 2025, Vietnam Airlines Corporation issued Official Dispatch 2105/TCTHK-TT on free transportation of goods to support people in flood-affected areas in the Central region to the City People's Committee.

Due to the impact of floods in Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces in recent days, to join hands to support localities and people to overcome difficulties, Vietnam Airlines will receive and transport free of charge support goods from agencies, unions, organizations and businesses.

Specifically, from now until December 31, 2025, goods to support flood victims will be prioritized for loading and free transportation on flights of Vietnam Airlines Group (including Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and VASCO) from provinces and cities across the country to Phu Bai, Da Nang , Chu Lai, Phu Cat, Tuy Hoa, Cam Ranh, Lien Khuong, Buon Ma Thuot, and Pleiku airports.

This program applies to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, local People's Committees, units under the Vietnam Red Cross Society, socio-political organizations, state agencies, social organizations, charitable funds, and licensed enterprises.

This is one of the efforts of Vietnam Airlines Group to accompany localities heavily affected by floods, share difficulties with people in disaster areas and promote the national airline's sense of social responsibility.

After receiving Official Dispatch 2105, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies, units and localities to promptly inform organizations and individuals in the area about the receipt and free transportation of goods to support people in the flood-affected areas of the Central region to know, contact and coordinate implementation.
