Banaco Export Processing Technology Joint Stock Company's dried banana product, under the brand name Ba Hong Anh, is exported to many countries around the world .

With the potential and advantages of local banana resources, people currently mainly sell fresh bananas. However, the market is unstable, and the economic value is not high. In 2023, with the support of his family, Mr. Bo and his colleagues invested 20 billion VND to establish Banaco Export Processing Technology Joint Stock Company, specializing in processing and exporting dried bananas to markets in Russia, the US, Europe, Japan, China, South Korea, and other countries.

Despite abundant raw materials, to create the finished product, Mr. Bo has made efforts to research and learn about high-tech production processes and invested in modern machinery. From raw material extraction to production and processing, all stages adhere to strict standards in the food processing industry. In addition, the company has signed cooperation agreements with regions, cooperatives, and farms growing bananas according to VietGAP and organic standards both within and outside the province to ensure a safe and high-quality supply of raw materials.

The production process of dried bananas includes the following steps: Importing raw materials; selecting bananas that meet quality standards, size, and ripeness; storing and ripening the bananas using ethylene gas (C₂H₄) – a hydrocarbon combined with food-grade alcohol – to ensure even ripening , aroma, and flavor, while also inhibiting bacterial growth and maintaining freshness for a long time. Afterward, the bananas are sorted, pre-processed, washed, peeled, and placed on trays for the first drying; the evaporation rate and moisture content are checked, and a second drying is performed, aiming for a moisture content of approximately 20%, with the desired sweetness, softness, and chewiness according to order requirements; quality control and sorting are performed before packaging. The dried bananas are packaged in a composite film made from aluminum foil (AL) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) to preserve the aroma and flavor of the product.

After two years of development, Mr. Bo's model for processing and exporting dried banana products has established its brand and reputation in many domestic and international markets. To date, Mr. Bo's company has developed 50 hectares of banana plantations, 80 hectares of bananas under contract farming, and exports and distributes to 20 countries. On average, the company consumes nearly 1,000 tons of fresh bananas per month and exports over 100 tons of dried bananas, with total revenue exceeding 30 billion VND, creating jobs for 200 local workers, with an average income of 8-12 million VND per person per month.
