Mr. Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup Corporation, introduced the National Exhibition Fair Center project invested by Vingroup. The project has a total area of over 900,000 m2, is positioned to become the largest exhibition center complex in Southeast Asia and is in the Top 10 largest exhibition complexes in the world. The heart of the complex is the Kim Quy exhibition building - an iconic structure with a giant steel dome weighing 24,000 tons, 56m high, simulating the image of the Kim Quy God - a sacred spirit associated with the legend of the Co Loa heritage land. Within the framework of the inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony, General Secretary To Lam, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, awarded the First Class Labor Medal to Vingroup Corporation for its outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the construction of the National Exhibition and Fair Center.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, presented the Third Class Labor Medal to Vietnam Electricity Group, the National Power Transmission Corporation (Vietnam Electricity Group) and Mr. Dang Hoang An, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Electricity Group. The Prime Minister awarded Certificates of Merit to many organizations and individuals with many achievements in helping to inaugurate many key projects on time.
