
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrades: Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Nai province; Le Trong Yen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province; leaders and former leaders of Dong Nai province; investors, businesses and contractors.
The Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway Project is one of the key projects, a strategic project of the country. The project is not only a simple traffic project, but also a lifeline connecting key economic regions, opening up breakthrough development opportunities for Dong Nai in particular and the Central Highlands - Southeast region in general, including Lam Dong province.

After nearly 4 months since the groundbreaking, the project has officially started construction. This is an important milestone, marking the transition from drawings and technical documents to the actual construction phase on site.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, the leaders of Dong Nai and Lam Dong provinces presented 15 gifts to households in the project area of component 1. Thereby, in order to promptly encourage and express gratitude for the positive contributions of the people in agreeing, supporting, creating favorable conditions to assist in relocation, handing over the site to the construction unit to promptly implement the project.

The Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway Project has a total length of 124 km, passing through many localities in the two provinces of Dong Nai and Lam Dong. The project will create opportunities to open the fastest and most beautiful road, helping localities have the opportunity to connect and develop.

The groundbreaking ceremony of Component Project 1: Investment in construction of the North-South Expressway, Western section, Gia Nghia (former Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (former Binh Phuoc) is one of the major activities to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
