Approved over 190 billion VND in compensation and support for the Gia Nghia

Along with that, the branches of the Land Fund Development Center of Chon Thanh, Dong Xoai, Dong Phu, Bu Dang coordinated with the People's Committees of communes and wards where the project passed through to mobilize households to hand over the project site before the deadline with an area of nearly 288 hectares.

The Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway project through Dong Nai province has a total length of more than 100km. To implement the project, the authorities must reclaim an area of nearly 941 hectares with nearly 4,300 plots of land.

The Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and its branches to coordinate with the communes and wards where the project passes through to implement land acquisition, compensation, site clearance, and resettlement of the project. Specifically, Bu Dang Branch will carry out the section through the communes of Bu Dang, Phuoc Son, Tho Son, and Nghia Trung; Dong Phu Branch will carry out the section through the communes of Dong Tam and Tan Loi; Dong Xoai Branch will carry out the section through the wards of Binh Phuoc and Dong Xoai; Chon Thanh Branch will carry out the section through Nha Bich commune and Chon Thanh ward.

According to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, currently, the branches of the Land Fund Development Center have issued land recovery notices for 3,817 plots of land. There are currently 29 plots of land that have not been notified of land recovery, of which 16 plots were issued by the Dong Phu Branch and 13 plots were issued by the Chon Thanh Branch.

Meanwhile, regarding the work of counting and inventorying houses and other assets attached to land, Dong Phu and Chon Thanh branches have completed 100% of the land plots; Bu Dang branch has completed nearly 97% and Dong Xoai branch has achieved more than 99%.

On October 8, the Provincial People's Committee also launched the 90-day and night plan to implement land acquisition, compensation, support and resettlement for the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway Project. Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee aims to basically complete compensation, site clearance, and hand over the site to the investor in December 2025 to implement the project, ensuring the disbursement of allocated public investment capital.
