On the evening of December 8, the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials coordinated with the Vietnam Association for the Support of People with Disabilities and Orphans to launch the Uprace 2025 community run.

Uprace 2025 is a free community running activity, organized on a technology platform, taking place over 24 days (from November 28 to December 21).
This is an event of profound social significance, both promoting the movement of health training and contributing to charity fundraising. All the money raised will be used for programs to support the disadvantaged in Ho Chi Minh City, including: cataract surgery, giving wheelchairs, rocking chairs and supporting livelihoods for the disabled and orphans.

During the 24 days of the race, running teams from businesses, schools and communities will record their achievements on the UpRace app.
Each completed kilometer is equivalent to 1,000 VND contributed by sponsors, creating a fund to support social organizations to carry out humanitarian activities such as saving the lives of premature babies, donating wheelchairs to help people with disabilities confidently earn a living, or giving children in mountainous areas more opportunities to go to school.

Launched in 2018, UpRace has become one of the most influential community running projects in Vietnam, attracting more than 632,000 participants, together accumulating 25 million km of running and contributing nearly 32 billion VND to meaningful social activities.
In 2025, UpRace continues to return with the message "Every Step Matters", inspiring each step to not only push beyond personal limits but also contribute to creating positive changes for the community.
