Displaying images of the efforts of people with disabilities to overcome obstacles

DNO - On the morning of December 5, in Chien Dan commune, the Center for Inclusive Development Research coordinated with the Association of People with Disabilities of Da Nang city to organize the activity "Using images to tell stories for people with disabilities".

This event is part of a series of activities under the Project "Supporting the improvement of the quality of life of people with disabilities (PWD) in provinces heavily sprayed with Agent Orange". The project is being implemented in Quang Tri province, Hue city, and Da Nang city, sponsored by the US Government.

The project is currently managed by the National Action Center for overcoming the consequences of toxic chemicals and the environment under the Ministry of National Defense ; funding is managed by the Center for Health and Population Initiatives. The Research Center for Inclusive Development (RCI) - the leading unit of the Joint Venture for the Inclusion of People with Disabilities is the implementing partner.

The activity "Using images to tell stories for people with disabilities" aims to promote and raise awareness about rehabilitation and promote the use of services, raising public awareness about people with disabilities. Here, images are displayed about the process of efforts to overcome disabilities to integrate into the community of people with disabilities.

Through images, people with disabilities tell their own stories and the stories of their families who have encouraged, supported, and helped them overcome adversity, conquer themselves, and social prejudices.
