Mobilizing resources for poverty reduction

QTO - According to a report by the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in the period 2021-2025, the total funding mobilized for poverty reduction in the entire province reached over 8.8 trillion VND from various sources, such as: central government budget, local government budget, credit capital, and socialized capital. This is considered an important resource, creating a foundation for localities to synchronously implement many essential support programs for the poor.

Resources are allocated quite comprehensively, focusing on key areas such as policy credit, healthcare, education , housing, and production support. The effective integration of the state budget with socialized resources demonstrates increasingly close coordination between the State, the community, and businesses in achieving sustainable poverty reduction goals.

As a result, the living conditions of many poor households have improved significantly; opportunities to access basic services have expanded, contributing to positive changes in social welfare.

However, the proportion of contributions from local and non-state budgets remains low compared to actual needs. This necessitates that sectors and localities continue to improve budget allocation mechanisms, prioritizing key areas; and at the same time, actively attract resources from businesses and social organizations to ensure the sustainability of the poverty reduction program in the next phase.
