'New Party Committee - New Determination - New Success': Quynh Anh Commune (Nghe An) strives to achieve Advanced New Rural Standards by 2028

With the motto of action "New Party Committee - New Determination - New Success", entering the term 2025 - 2030, the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Quynh Anh commune determined to develop the commune in the direction of: Sticking to the river - Orienting to the sea - Developing trade and service centers, creating momentum for the commune to achieve advanced new rural status by 2028.

On August 18 and 19, the Quynh Anh Commune Party Committee held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Nguyen Van De - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and directed the Congress.

Also attending were comrades: Ho Mau Ngoat - Former member of the Party Central Committee, former assistant, in charge of the Office of the General Secretary ; representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of the old Quynh Luu district through the periods and 220 typical party members representing 1,714 party members in the commune.

Quynh Anh commune was established on the basis of merging 5 communes: Quynh Bang, Quynh Yen, Quynh Doi, Quynh Thanh and Minh Luong.

During the 2020 - 2025 term, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, government and people of the (old) communes have united, highly unified, and strived to achieve many comprehensive results in the following areas: The economy has developed quite well; The total value of products in 2025 is estimated at 2,725,859 billion VND, an increase of 44.72% compared to 2020, an average of 7.67% per year over 5 years; The economic growth rate in 2025 is estimated at 8.71%, an average of 7.01% per year over 5 years.

The structure of total product value has shifted in a positive direction, reducing the proportion of the Agriculture - Forestry - Fishery sector and increasing the proportion of the industry and services sector. The average income value per capita in 2025 is estimated at 64.9 million VND, an increase of 22.9 million VND compared to 2020.

There has been much progress in the cultural and social fields, and social security issues have been resolved promptly and effectively. National defense and security have been strengthened. The material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved. The work of building the Party and the political system has been focused on, consolidated and developed.

The first Quynh Anh Commune Party Congress set out 35 main targets on Party building, economy, culture - society, environment, national defense - security, new rural construction; 4 key programs and 3 breakthroughs.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Van De - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of Quynh Anh commune have achieved in the past term.

To successfully achieve the goal of building Quynh Anh commune to meet advanced New Rural standards by 2028, developing rapidly and sustainably on the basis of clinging to rivers - orienting towards the sea - developing trade and service centers - organic agriculture - cultural and spiritual tourism, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee oriented a number of key tasks.

First of all, it is necessary to continue to maintain, consolidate and foster solidarity and unity within the Party and the entire political system; create consensus among all classes of people in implementing common goals. Pay attention to the work of Party building and rectification, building a clean, strong, streamlined political system that operates effectively, efficiently and effectively; improve the quality of Party cell activities, and focus on developing Party members in special areas.

Quynh Anh commune is located along the poetic Mai Giang river and has a long coastline, which is a great advantage for developing the service economy, tourism and trade. He suggested that the locality should plan and form modern residential areas along the river, develop trade and service centers in old communes, creating a driving force for balanced development in the whole commune. Promote the exploitation of marine potential to develop the aquaculture economy and marine tourism, closely linked with cultural and spiritual tourism. Strive to make Quynh Anh a unique cultural and tourist destination of Nghe An.

In economic development, it is necessary to improve the quality of agriculture, build the brand of Quynh Anh specialties, focus on developing organic, safe, VietGAP agriculture, especially vegetables - famous products of the region. Gradually build the brand "Quynh Anh clean vegetables", develop the market inside and outside the province, expand exports. Promote industry - small industry and trade services. Attract investment to form small and medium industrial clusters, prioritize the processing of agricultural and aquatic products, garments, wooden furniture, take advantage of local raw materials and labor.

In addition, the locality needs to mobilize all resources, seek support from the province, the central government and businesses to build a modern and synchronous transportation system, schools, markets, bus stations, clean water works, and lighting. Focus on beautifying the urban and rural landscape, building Quynh Anh commune "bright - green - clean - beautiful", developing towards a green and sustainable economy.

Developing culture and society, preserving the tradition of mandarin examinations and studiousness: Promoting the cultural, historical, revolutionary and mandarin examination traditions of Quynh Doi homeland and the cultural villages in the commune; building a healthy cultural environment, encouraging learning and talent. The Congress announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Quynh Anh Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 22 comrades (including 11 members of the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee).

Comrade Nguyen Van Thuong was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; Comrade Tran Thi Ha was appointed to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Comrade Ho Nghia Duong was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Anh commune, term 2025-2030.
