Department of Industry and Trade connects supply and demand of OCOP products for businesses

On the afternoon of August 18, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with Hoang Yen Vang Bird Nest Company Limited (at 18 Le Thanh Phuong, Nha Trang Ward) to organize a program to connect supply and demand of OCOP products for businesses and cooperatives in the province. Representatives of relevant departments and branches and nearly 20 businesses and cooperatives attended.

At the program, businesses and cooperatives shared and exchanged experiences on connecting with tourism units to bring tourists to experience and visit OCOP product production facilities; bring OCOP products into hotel systems; link with the postal system to consume products...

In addition, businesses also discussed the content of booth layout, procedures, regulations, and business agreements when cooperating together. At the program, Hoang Yen Vang Bird Nest Company Limited signed a memorandum of understanding on business cooperation with 5 businesses with OCOP products in the province.

It is known that after the merger, Khanh Hoa province has nearly 600 OCOP products with a variety of types, many of which have become famous brands, contributing to affirming the local image in the domestic and international markets such as: bird's nest, agarwood, garlic, grapes, seaweed, aloe vera, fish sauce, Bau Truc pottery... The OCOP product introduction and sales point (at 18 Le Thanh Phuong, Nha Trang ward) is the first point deployed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. This introduction point has nearly 20 participating enterprises and units with nearly 100 OCOP products. This will be a place to promote and introduce many typical OCOP products of Khanh Hoa province to tourists and consumers; at the same time, creating opportunities for enterprises and cooperatives to expand their consumption markets.
