Mr. Kyiv (from Dubai, United Arab Emirates) excitedly took photos of the red flags with yellow stars flying on Ly Nam De Street (Hoan Kiem Ward). "It was an overwhelming scene to see Vietnamese flags all over the streets and restaurants. I feel lucky to have come to Vietnam at this time," Mr. Kyiv shared.

Ms. Tran Thi Khanh Huyen (Dong Ngac Ward) stopped to take a check-in photo with her relatives at the row of national flags on Hang Luoc Street. "The scene is so beautiful and brilliant. Looking at the image of the national flag, my heart is filled with emotion," Ms. Huyen said.

Not only on the streets of Hanoi's old quarter, from early morning, many people were present at Ba Dinh Square to take souvenir photos on this occasion. Mrs. Tran Thi Bay (84 years old, Da Nang City) and her relatives visited Hanoi for the first time. "After more than 80 years, I have been to the capital, witnessing with my own eyes the changes of the country in peace and independence, I am extremely proud and happy", Mrs. Bay was moved.
