HNP - On August 18, in the exciting atmosphere towards the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Dai Xuyen commune solemnly held the ceremony of attaching the signboard of Co Che communal house.

Co Che Communal House is an ancient communal house over 300 years old, built during the Le Trung Hung period. is a place of worship The village guardian spirit of Trung Thanh Dai Vuong - A talented general during the Hung Due Vuong era. This is not only a sacred religious work, but also a cultural and spiritual symbol deeply attached to the life of the local community.

Every year, on the 12th day of the second lunar month, people solemnly hold a festival to commemorate the merits of the village's tutelary god, expressing their respect and gratitude to their ancestors, while contributing to preserving and spreading the unique cultural values of the locality.

Co Che communal house still preserves many exquisite carvings and rare artifacts such as: genealogy, 12 royal decrees in Chinese characters and national language translations. Researchers evaluate Co Che communal house as "the remaining precious gem of the Northern Delta", with artistic value comparable to Chu Quyen, Huong Canh and Phu Lao communal houses.

In 2004, the communal house was recognized as a city-level relic and ranked as a national historical-cultural relic in 2015.

Over the centuries, Co Che communal house has seriously degraded. In order to preserve and promote the value of the relic, in 2023, Phu Xuyen District People's Committee implemented the project to restore and embellish the communal house with a total cost of nearly 24 billion VND. The project was completed on schedule, ensuring strict technical and aesthetic requirements.

In addition to the State's investment capital, people, businesses and children living far from home have actively supported and contributed a total of more than 867 million VND.

After being restored, Co Che communal house is not only a space for cultural and religious activities of the people, but also becomes a place to educate the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", fostering love for the homeland and country for the young generation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Dai Xuyen Commune People's Committee Hoang Tuan affirmed that the Co Che communal house being given a plaque is an honor and pride for the people of Dai Xuyen Commune in general and Co Che Village in particular. This is not only a recognition of the historical and cultural value of the relic, but also demonstrates the deep concern of the Party, State and City in the cause of preserving and promoting the value of national cultural heritage.

The ceremony of attaching the plaque to Co Che communal house has the meaning of gratitude and honoring the heritage.
