Free Giong is written in a contemporary folk style mixed with rock, combining traditional and modern elements.

The image of Saint Giong in the song emerges from a boy who rose to become a hero, defeating the An invaders and gaining independence and freedom for the country. The MV is staged based on the story of Saint Giong, associated with the aspirations of the Vietnamese people today.

Without elaborate grand scenes, the work was performed in a studio with special effects, creating symbolic images, combining dance language to increase artistic effects.

The author of the song Giong Tu Do, musician Huy Tran Jack, said that the idea for the song came from seeing Le Viet Anh increasingly engaging in theater, musicals, and works imbued with culture and history.

From there, musician Huy Tran Jack wanted to bring the male singer a new direction: modern, youthful pop/rock songs that still convey the heroic and emotional spirit of an epic.

“Giong is a Saint in the history of building and defending the country of Vietnam with a lot of meaning and emotion. Inspired by Saint Giong, I wrote this song to express the ancient people's desire for freedom and the desire to turn Vietnam into a dragon in the present,” said musician Huy Tran Jack.

For Le Viet Anh, Giong Tu Do is not only a musical product but also a reminder of the aspirations of every Vietnamese person during the renovation period. The male singer shared that he put a lot of effort into the project because the song expressed his desire to contribute to the development of the country.

The MV not only recreates the story of Saint Giong, but is also a call to arms, evoking historical pride, gratitude to generations of ancestors, and at the same time inspiring us to walk firmly with international friends in the new era.

Le Viet Anh won the Second Prize in the 2011 Sao Mai Light Music category, the Best Singer award voted by the audience at Sao Mai Rendezvous 2012 and made his mark with ballad songs such as Tinh Nhan and May.

In 2019, he released the album Nu Cuoi Mat La with Dang Tuan Phuong and organized the live show Uoc Nguyet Phu Sa to celebrate 10 years of singing.

In April 2024, he attracted attention when he released the album Khung troi khac with 7 compositions by musician Do Bao. The product brought a youthful and simple image of Le Viet Anh.

Not only singing, in recent years Le Viet Anh has also tried his hand at musicals. He played the lead role in Waves (Youth Theater) and made a strong impression with Fire from the Earth - a political play portraying the first Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Ngoc Vu.
