The 36-year-old female singer is of Tho ethnic group, has been passionate about singing since childhood and possesses a powerful voice. "In Ho Chi Minh City, I sang and did many different jobs. There was a period when I worked as a tailor and an accountant. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I livestreamed online sales, doing everything I could to make ends meet.

Many times I also broke down, wondering about the choices, should I return to my hometown or continue to stay in the city. Luckily, in the past 2 years, I have found many opportunities, participated in some music programs, since then my life has been more stable," Truong Bao Yen shared.

The singer from Nghe An added that she had experienced a broken relationship and is currently a single mother. Her two children are living in the countryside with their grandparents. In the future, Truong Bao Yen hopes to reunite with her children.
