25th Olympia Final: Will Hue National School have a 4th laurel wreath?

(Dan Tri) - The final match of the Road to Olympia 2025 will officially take place at 8:30 a.m. this morning, October 26, with the participation of 4 contestants from Hue, Dong Thap, Khanh Hoa and Hanoi.

According to the starting order drawing results announced on the morning of October 24, Le Quang Duy Khoa - Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted ( Hue ) - will be in the number 1 position, which means he will be the first player in the final match of the 25th Road to Olympia.

Positions 2, 3, and 4 respectively belong to Doan Thanh Tung - Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Khanh Hoa), Tran Bui Bao Khanh - Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted (Hanoi) and Nguyen Nhat Lam - Cai Be High School (Dong Thap).

Along with the Vietnam Television studio, the remaining 4 live broadcasts are held locally, including: Thang Long Imperial Citadel - Hanoi, Lac Hong Park - Dong Thap , Huong River Theater - Hue and April 2 Square - Khanh Hoa.

If Nhut Lam is the only contestant who does not study at a specialized school, and is also the first contestant from Dong Thap to enter the final round this year, the remaining 3 contestants all come from provinces with a long history of achievements at the Olympia playground.

Le Quang Duy Khoa is the 8th contestant from Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted - Hue to enter the final round of Road to Olympia, and is also the 3rd consecutive contestant from this school to bring Olympia live television to Hue after Nguyen Minh Triet in 2023 and Vo Quang Phu Duc in 2024.

In terms of number of championships, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted is at the top of the country with three times in 2009, 2016 and 2024.

Tran Bui Bao Khanh is the 6th contestant from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted to enter the final round this year. The Biology major student has high expectations because the famous Ams school has only won the laurel wreath once in the past 25 years.

Doan Thanh Tung is the second contestant from Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted and the third contestant from Khanh Hoa province to register for the special competition. Thanh Tung is also expected to bring the first laurel wreath to his home province.

Based on the results of the 4 contestants in the quarter finals, Bao Khanh leads with 295 points, followed by Nhut Lam with 290 points, Thanh Tung with 255 points and Duy Khoa with 160 points.

Traditionally, the winner of the Road to Olympia is awarded $50,000. In addition, some universities offer direct admission or bonus points to the finalists of the year.
