The 25th Road to Olympia Finals will take place from 8:30 a.m. on October 26 at the Vietnam Television studio with four locations in Hue - Dong Thap - Khanh Hoa - Hanoi , broadcast live on VTV3 channel and online on VTV Online (VTV.vn).
Participating in the competition are four candidates who won first prizes in quarterly competitions this year: Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted - Hue City), Nguyen Nhat Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap ), Doan Thanh Tung (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Khanh Hoa) and Tran Bui Bao Khanh (Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi).
The warm-up round was tense, Bao Khanh and Duy Khoa followed each other closely.
The final round began with a rather tense first challenge: the warm-up. Nhut Lam, the "prince" from the fruit kingdom of Dong Thap, scored 35 points, while Thanh Tung scored 30 points.
Meanwhile, Bao Khanh excellently won 65 points with quick, decisive, and accurate answers. Duy Khoa, the boy from Quoc Hoc Hue, was also not to be outdone, closely following with 60 points.

Overcoming obstacles, Thanh Tung breaks through
In the Obstacle Course competition, the program gave a challenge with 21 letters. In the first question, all 4 contestants gave the correct answer. While the second question had not been opened, Thanh Tung made the whole hall "stopped in their tracks" and then burst into tears when he gave the correct key to the 21 letters: Truong Ba's Soul, Butcher's Skin , the title of a work released in 1984 by playwright Luu Quang Vu.
With this excellent answer, Thanh Tung took the lead with 100 points. Bao Khanh got 75 points, Duy Khoa followed with 70 points, and Nhut Lam got 45 points.

Thanh Tung accelerated with 210 points
The Acceleration round required the contestants to be precise and fast. On the very first question, Thanh Tung and Bao Khanh both answered correctly.
On the second question, all four had the same answer but Bao Khanh was the fastest. On the third question, all four contestants had the same answer but Duy Khoa was the fastest, followed by Nhut Lam, Thanh Tung and Duy Khoa.
In the third question, all the candidates had the same answer. Bao Khanh, although answering third, still maintained his advantage in score (175 points). The position right after that was Thanh Tung (170 points).
In the last question, the fastest answerer Thanh Tung was only 1 second behind the second fastest answerer Bao Khanh, very dramatic.
Finally, the contestant from Khanh Hoa won 40 points, breaking away to lead the climbing group with 210 points.
The scores were then Bao Khanh with 185 points, Duy Khoa with 150 points, and Nhat Lam with 135 points.

In a breathtaking chase in the final round, Bao Khanh emerged victorious.
Entering the Finish Line round, the final and most important round, Thanh Tung was the first contestant to choose the 3-question, 20-point package.
From the Khánh Hòa location, MC Công Tố carried a basket of water spinach and gifts, saying, "Wait for me to come home and eat." Teachers and friends shouted their best wishes to Thanh Tùng, "Stay calm, confident, and have smooth sailing." Even his nearly 100-year-old great-grandmother appeared on screen to wish him victory.
Faced with the affection of relatives and friends in his hometown, the candidate from Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted shared that "normally I smile a lot and am easily moved, today I don't know what to say other than thank you very much."
In the first question, Nhựt Lam pressed the buzzer to answer, but no contestant received any points. In the second question, Duy Khoa took the opportunity to answer but his answer was incorrect.
On the third question, when asked if he would choose the star of hope, Thanh Tung chose the safe option. Bao Khanh rang the bell but gave the wrong answer. Thanh Tung "conserved" his score with 210 points, temporarily leading the competition.
Bao Khanh was the second contestant to compete in the final round. At the Thang Long Imperial Citadel viewing point, teachers from all four levels of education (high school, middle school, elementary school, and kindergarten) were present to cheer him on.
Teachers and students from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students, along with over 8,000 supporters, believe Khanh "will achieve something extraordinary, especially on the occasion of the school's 40th anniversary." "Behind you are millions of hearts cheering for you. Win Khanh, win!" was the message from the remote location to their climbing champion.
Khanh expressed her gratitude, sent a heart emoji, and advanced to the final round with a question package worth 20, 30, and 20 points. For the first question, the contestant answered correctly, earning an additional 20 points.
By the second question, Bao Khanh was at a turning point where he could have taken the lead. He answered correctly and earned an additional 30 points, taking the lead in the climbing challenge (225 points).
In the final question, Bao Khanh answered correctly, solidifying his leading position. The climber had what was considered a perfect finish to the competition.
Duy Khoa entered the final round with a grand message of "perseverance" from the Hue City viewing location.
Contestants from Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue City chose the 20-30-30 point question package. Khoa answered the first question incorrectly, earning 20 points. Nhut Lam pressed the buzzer to answer and received an additional 20 points.
By the second question, Duy Khoa hadn't chosen his "star of hope." However, Khoa didn't answer the question correctly. Bao Khanh took the opportunity to answer but gave an incorrect answer, losing points in a regrettable manner.
For the third question, Duy Khoa decided to use his "star of hope." He answered the History question correctly, earning 60 points. Duy Khoa stopped his participation with 180 points.

Bao Khanh gives Hanoi gifts to three friends "climbing mountains" together
Before the official competition, at the Vietnam Television studio, the four contestants had a special livestream.
As the hostess, Bao Khanh said she had prepared a quintessential Hanoi treat for her three friends: green rice flakes (com).
This is the first time Nhat Lam is in Hanoi in the fall, the weather is quite nice, "a bit cold for Dong Thap but it's okay".
Duy Khoa absolutely loves autumn; the weather is neither too hot nor too cold, much more pleasant than the weather in Hue. Meanwhile, Thanh Tung, a "son of the coast," considers this weather the perfect match for the intensity of today's final.

Khanh Hoa: MC "flies," audience braves the rain to support Thanh Tung.
Among the connecting points, Khanh Hoa "played it all out", surprising everyone with an unprecedented "flying" performance.
This was the first time a host of the Olympia final flew into the air and hosted from above, then landed on the sand and blended into the carnival atmosphere of thousands of students and performing artists in Khanh Hoa.
Besides the impressive "flying" display, the Khánh Hòa venue also kicked off with an impressive performance combining rap, Bài Chòi (a traditional Vietnamese folk game), and other traditional values. The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by the enthusiastic participation of thousands of students and various beach-based activities such as parasailing and waterskiing.
The bridge wants to send Thanh Tung a strong message: "We are always by your side, accompanying you and are sure that when you are confident, you will have smooth sailing to reap success and reach the big sea. Tung, you always have us. No matter what the result is, you are the winner."
The atmosphere at the home broadcast location was so intense that Doan Thanh Tung couldn't hold back his tears.
MC on behalf of Khanh Hoa people sent Thanh Tung wishes for a successful and convincing mountain climb.
"We are so happy. Every boat is anchored here to witness your victory," the Khánh Hòa viewing point conveyed.

Previously, from early morning on October 26, April 2 Square (Nam Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa) - the place chosen as the final TV broadcast location of the Road to Olympia 2025, thousands of Khanh Hoa students, residents and tourists flocked to, turning this area into a "sea of people" full of enthusiasm, adding to the fire of cheering for contestant Doan Thanh Tung (Le Quy Don High School).
Over the past few days, the weather in the coastal city of Nha Trang has been unpredictable, but the organizers of the Khanh Hoa bridge still decided to keep the outdoor location. And this morning, as predicted, it rained.
The rain alternated between heavy downpours and light drizzles, but it didn't deter the fans. Around 4,000 students braved the downpour, filling the main stands, sheltering themselves with raincoats, personal umbrellas, or simply wearing their soaking wet school uniforms.
Cheers, pounding drums, and elaborately prepared "fueling" cultural performances continued with great enthusiasm. Cheering signs and flags bearing the image of Doan Thanh Tung (a 12th-grade student from Le Quy Don Specialized High School) were held high by the young people, creating an impressive image of united support.
"We have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Even though I am all wet, I still have to come here to cheer for Thanh Tung, because we, like everyone else, need a laurel wreath!" - Phan Huynh Song Thu, Tung's classmate, shared.

Thousands of people in Hue "cheered on" Duy Khoa.
Despite the cold, rainy weather this morning in Hue, thousands of people gathered at the Perfume River Theater – the venue for the live broadcast of the Olympia Peak Challenge final – to cheer on contestant Le Quang Duy Khoa.
Present at the bridge early, Mr. Hoang Dung (living in Hue City) said that Duy Khoa is the pride and hope of Hue today. "Hopefully Khoa will be the first climber to help Hue win the championship for 2 consecutive years. I hope he is confident and victorious," Mr. Dung said.

At Dong Thap, thousands of students, teachers and parents were present early at Lac Hong Park, My Tho Ward to cheer for Nguyen Nhut Lam (Cai Be High School). It rained very early in Dong Thap this morning, but by the time of the event, the rain had stopped, and the weather was cool and favorable for the "cheers". Lac Hong Park is located along the Tien River, where the statue of Nguyen Huu Huan (valedictorian Huan) - a famous patriot and first place winner of the Huong exam in Gia Dinh in 1852 - is located.
The atmosphere at the viewing location was vibrant and lively, filled with flags from thousands of students, parents, and teachers eagerly awaiting Nhựt Lam's performance. On stage, the girls from the Mekong Delta, dressed in traditional "áo bà ba" blouses and conical hats, opened the show with songs characteristic of Đồng Tháp, the land of rivers and waterways.
Nguyen Nhut Lam is the only contestant among the four climbers who did not attend a specialized school. Nhut Lam started his journey on the Road to Olympia with the second place in the week (220 points), then won the first place in the month (230 points), and in the second quarter, he made a spectacular breakthrough with 290 points to officially register for the Yearly Final of the 25th Road to Olympia.
This is also the second time Dong Thap has had a contestant enter the final round. Previously, Nguyen Trong Nhan (former student of Tien Giang High School for the Gifted) won the laurel wreath of Road to Olympia in 2014.

Teachers and students from Ams High School brought robots to cheer on Bao Khanh.
At the Đoan Môn Gate of the historic Thang Long Imperial Citadel, an unprecedented atmosphere of heroism and excitement prevailed. Approximately 8,000 supporters, including teachers, parents, and especially thousands of students from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for Gifted Students, gathered in traditional ao dai dresses and school uniforms, carrying the national flag and school flags, marching towards the parade "platform," ready to cheer on their representatives.
The atmosphere at the bridge made MC Ngoc Huy at the studio jokingly say it reminded him of the historic September days.
"The atmosphere today is so special. We arrived at 6 am to cheer for our friend. Regardless of the outcome, we are still very proud that our friend is participating in the biggest intellectual competition in the country," Minh Anh (Hanoi - Amsterdam High School) shared.
In the audience area, cheers and drums echoed throughout the morning. Teachers also joined in the atmosphere, smiling proudly when seeing their students confidently demonstrate their knowledge and skills.

Le Quang Duy Khoa from Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue City is the first contestant to secure a place in the finals.
In the first quarter competition broadcast on January 12, Duy Khoa surpassed three other contestants from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Thai Nguyen to win the laurel wreath with 160 points.
Notably, Duy Khoa displayed a calm demeanor, quick reading comprehension, and excellent timing during the buzzer-pressing segment to answer questions. He previously won a silver medal at the national IOE English competition and first prize at the 6th Red Laurel Competition.
Duy Khoa also excels in English and history, loves football, and aspires to pursue a career in scientific research.
Nguyen Nhat Lam helps Cai Be High School (Dong Thap province) have its first Olympia live TV broadcast point.
In the second quarter competition, Lam scored 290 points, surpassing other candidates to win the laurel wreath.
With a strong background in history and English, Lam has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to memorize and reason coherently in social knowledge tests.
Besides studying, Lam loves music. Her motto is: "A wish without the desire to act on it, even if it had wings, will never reach its goal."
Doan Thanh Tung , a student at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Khanh Hoa), was the winner of the third quarter competition with 255 points.
Previously, Tung entered the quarterly competition as the runner-up with the highest monthly score, but he overtook them and earned a place in the finals.
Tung has a knack for biology, loves logic, diagrams and algorithms - factors that help Tung handle well questions that require synthetic thinking.
Tung chose the motto: "The past is in your head. The future is in your hands." His nickname, "Kem," was given to him by his friends because of his calm and quiet demeanor while studying.
You said you are aiming for the dream of becoming a military officer. On the Olympia stage, Tung often shows a slow, focused playing style, with clear calculations in each decision to choose a question.
Tran Bui Bao Khanh , a student at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, won the fourth quarter competition broadcast on October 19 with 270 points.
In this competition, Bao Khanh led in most sections. She maintained consistent performance in the Obstacle Course, Acceleration, and Finish Line sections, thereby securing televised points for Hanoi.
Previously in the monthly competition, Bao Khanh achieved 295 points, one of the highest results of this year's competition season.
With a talent for biology, a good memory, and a passion for reading, cooking, and listening to music, Bao Khanh shared that he has a habit of memorizing information after observing or hearing it once. He also always tries to remain calm throughout the competition.
