On the afternoon of December 11th, with a high number of votes in favor, the 5th session of the 10th term of the Da Nang City People's Council passed a resolution stipulating the payment of additional income to officials, civil servants, and public employees of Da Nang City.

According to the resolution, from 2026, officials and public employees who excellently complete their tasks will receive an increase of 0.5 times their salary per person per month; those who perform well will receive an increase of 0.3 times their salary per person per month; and those who complete their tasks will receive an increase of 0.1 times their salary per person per month.

The additional income, linked to the work performance of officials, civil servants, and public employees, is paid quarterly.

The payment of additional income is based on the income increase coefficient and the basic salary of officials, civil servants, and public employees; the minimum benefit for officials, civil servants, and public employees classified as having completed their tasks well or better is not less than 1.5 million VND/person/month; for those who have completed their tasks, it is not less than 500,000 VND/person/month.

Specifically, for those who perform their duties exceptionally well, the average monthly salary increase for city officials and civil servants is 4.75 million VND/person/month, and for public employees it is 4.38 million VND/person/month.

The target group includes officials, civil servants, and employees within the allocated staffing quotas of organizations assigned tasks by the Party and the State, with an additional 4.18 million VND/person/month.

In cases where tasks are completed successfully, the average monthly salary for city officials and civil servants increases by 2.85 million VND/person/month; for public employees, it increases by 2.63 million VND/person/month; and for officials, civil servants, and public employees within the allocated staffing quota in associations assigned tasks by the Party and the State, it increases by 2.51 million VND/person/month.

In cases where tasks are completed successfully, the average monthly salary for city officials and civil servants increases by 0.95 million VND/person/month; for public employees, it increases by 0.88 million VND/person/month; and for officials, civil servants, and public employees within the allocated staffing quota in associations assigned tasks by the Party and the State, it increases by 0.84 million VND/person/month.
