Two individuals were unexpectedly awarded: Tran Bui Bao Khanh, a student at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, and Ms. Bui Thi Thu Ha, homeroom teacher of the school's 12th grade Biology class.
According to Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the locality is rising to the top 1 in the country in terms of mass education and advanced education. There are many examples of high-quality teachers and students, and Bao Khanh is an example.
In this year's Road to Olympia competition, Bao Khanh had spectacular results. Although he is a student majoring in Biology, Bao Khanh's knowledge of other subjects is very good, with many excellent answers.
Ms. Tran Thuy Duong, Principal of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, said that the school has a plan and roadmap to train Bao Khanh.
The school selects a professional advisory board from the departments, sets up a professional team to develop documents and question sets suitable for the exam.
"We also built a training roadmap for candidate Bao Khanh through stages to help him grasp the knowledge firmly, including simulating the exam, helping him maintain his spirit and mentality before the exam.
The advisory team has questions that combine theory and practice, combining reality and theory for students to practice. With courage and ability, Bao Khanh has made a spectacular breakthrough in this exam," said Ms. Duong.

Previously, Tran Bui Bao Khanh brought home the second laurel wreath for Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted after 15 years since Phan Minh Duc's victory in 2010. Bao Khanh's victory was convincing as the male student was always in first and second place from the first rounds.
Bao Khanh's outstanding strengths are quick response, quick thinking in handling deductive questions, fast ringing speed and comprehensive understanding in many different fields.
During 12 years of high school, Bao Khanh was always an excellent student. Before being admitted to the specialized Biology class at Ams school, Bao Khanh studied in the selective class of Hanoi Star Inter-level School - one of the cradles of training top students in the capital.
In grade 9, the male student won first prize in the city-level excellent student competition in science subjects in the 2022-2023 school year. In grades 10 and 11, he won second prize in the city-level excellent student competition in biology, and a silver medal in the 2025 Natural Science Olympiad.
At Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Bao Khanh is the head of the Psychology Club. In addition to his strengths in natural sciences, Bao Khanh enjoys reading novels and cooking. These are two activities that help him broaden his knowledge and entertain himself after stressful study hours.
In the final round, Tran Bui Bao Khanh started in 3rd place. He finished first in the Warm-up round with 65 points, second in the Obstacle Course round with 75 points, second in the Acceleration round with 180 points and took the lead in the Finishing round with 215 points.
