Hanoi Chairman presents certificate of merit to Road to Olympia champion Tran Bui Bao Khanh

After winning the Road to Olympia 2025 championship, Tran Bui Bao Khanh, a student at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, received a certificate of merit from the City People's Committee.

On October 28, the Hanoi People's Committee held a ceremony to commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the 25th "Road to Olympia" competition.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha and Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong attended the commendation ceremony.

At the ceremony, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the award decision of the Hanoi People's Committee.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee signed a decision to award Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and individuals with achievements in the "Road to Olympia" contest, the 25th year.

The 4 units and individuals receiving Certificates of Merit are: Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted; Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center; teacher Bui Thi Thu Ha, homeroom teacher of grade 12 at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted and Tran Bui Bao Khanh, grade 12 student specializing in biology at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted. In addition to the Certificate of Merit, Tran Bui Bao Khanh was also awarded 50 million VND by the City People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training.

The final match of Road to Olympia 2025 took place on October 26. Tran Bui Bao Khanh's journey to conquer the laurel wreath was full of thrilling chases and score struggles.

Right from the warm-up round, Bao Khanh showed stable performance, leading both the individual and group warm-ups with 65 points. In the obstacle course and acceleration round, Bao Khanh fell behind while Thanh Tung continuously took the lead.

At the finish line, Bao Khanh showed the most composure and strength when choosing the 20-30-20 package and answering all three questions correctly. The perfect finish helped Bao Khanh take the lead with 225 points.

After the victory, in addition to teachers, friends and 8,000 fans at the Hanoi bridge, Bao Khanh wanted to thank his parents for creating all the conditions for Bao Khanh to both study and experience, go to many places to learn more about culture - society , train his health and spirit to be good for today.

"As for the more distant future, I have many dreams and ambitions, but I don't want to reveal them specifically right now. I will keep it as a little secret for everyone to discover later," Khanh shared.
