Vietjet has continued to make significant strides in sustainable development in recent years. Specifically, in 2025, the airline and Oxford University jointly announced the results of a study on solutions to help the aviation industry achieve net zero emissions. The airline also promotes the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), continuously introducing new generation aircraft such as the A321neo into operation, thereby reducing fuel consumption by 15-20% compared to previous generation aircraft. Previously, Vietjet was the first Vietnamese airline to conduct an ESG report, contributing to Vietnam's journey towards realizing its net zero commitment internationally. With these persistent efforts, Vietjet was honored by Airline Ratings with the Sustainable Development Award, given to seven airlines worldwide.
