This year's event brings together nearly 70 universities and educational institutions from 18 European Union member countries including France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Romania, Finland, Austria, Latvia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Poland, Spain, Hungary and Bulgaria, providing comprehensive information on training programs, scholarships and research opportunities in many fields.
In addition to the exhibition area with information on training programs, scholarships and research opportunities, panel discussions and sharing sessions by alumni will give attendees a practical perspective on their journey of learning and development in Europe, where knowledge is inspired by openness, diversity and creativity.
Within the framework of the European Education Week, the Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe events continue to be important highlights, connecting universities and educational institutions from Vietnam and Europe, promoting research cooperation, innovation and co-creation of knowledge. This year, for the first time, these two key programs are organized together within the framework of the Week, creating a comprehensive ecosystem for lecturers, managers and educational institutions to meet, build partnerships and jointly create solutions for the future.

Sharing about the significance of the European Education Week 2025, EU Ambassador to Vietnam Julien Guerrier said: “Education is the foundation of all sustainable development. In a rapidly changing world , equipping young people with the skills to adapt and innovate is key to the future. I believe that the European Education Week not only provides learning opportunities, but also opens bridges of connection and cooperation between Vietnam and Europe – two partners who are together transforming knowledge into action, and action into change.”
The European Education Week 2025 is organized within the framework of the “Plug in to Evolution” campaign - a key communication and public diplomacy initiative, part of the global chain of activities under the European Union’s “Global Gateway” Strategy. The campaign aims to promote skills development, green transformation and sustainable cooperation through a series of creative activities aimed at the young generation. This is not only a bridge between Vietnamese students and European universities, but also part of the journey to spread the spirit of learning, creativity and building the future together.
Last year, more than 100 universities from Vietnam and Europe gathered in Hanoi to discuss cooperation in research, innovation and teaching. Currently, there are more than 430 joint training programs with international universities across Vietnam, of which half are with partners from Europe.
