(Dan Tri) - Mr. Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Tho province.

At the thematic session on the afternoon of October 28, the People's Council of Phu Tho province conducted personnel work according to its authority. Delegates voted to elect Mr. Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Tho province, term XIX, 2021-2026 with the result of 100% of votes in favor.

The People's Council of Phu Tho province unanimously agreed to dismiss Mr. Bui Van Quang from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, term XIX, 2021-2026, due to being assigned to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025-2030.

100% of the delegates attending voted unanimously to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Manh Son from the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province for the 2021-2026 term due to being assigned to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Also at the meeting, the People's Council of Phu Tho province conducted an additional election for the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Ngo Chi Tue, Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, with 100% of votes in favor.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee Truong Quoc Huy acknowledged and congratulated Mr. Bui Duc Hinh (Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Tho province), Mr. Bui Van Quang (Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee), Mr. Nguyen Manh Son (Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee) and hoped that these leaders would excellently complete their assigned tasks.

Mr. Huy emphasized that after nearly 4 months of operating the 2-level local government, despite the large workload, the authorities at all levels of Phu Tho province have urgently reviewed the tasks, promptly concretizing the Party's policies and the State's laws.

Phu Tho has built a development orientation, made plans, reviewed, proposed and issued mechanisms and policies suitable to the province's reality. The province's socio -economic development results in the first 9 months of this year have been quite positive and comprehensive in all fields.

Phu Tho province was established on the basis of merging three provinces: Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh , and came into operation on July 1.

The province has a natural area of ​​over 9,361 square kilometers, a population of over 4 million people and 148 commune-level administrative units under the province.
