Among the many winter fashion options, some products stand out for their simplicity and technology. Uniqlo is one of them.
From Heattech thermal shirts to Pufftech quilted jackets, Uniqlo has redefined warm clothing, helping millions around the world get through the cold season in a more comfortable, relaxed, and fashionable way.

The enduring appeal of Uniqlo's thermal shirts remains strong.
Launched in 2003 as the result of years of research with partner Toray Industries, Heattech has become a symbol of pioneering warming technology, proving that Uniqlo can keep you warm with just one layer of fabric.
During the collaboration between Uniqlo and Toray, numerous ideas and over 10,000 prototype shirts were tested to create the first complete Heattech thermal shirt. This effort resulted in Heattech, offering a lightweight, comfortable yet warm material, opening a new chapter in warm clothing for cold weather at an accessible price.
Over time, Toray's expertise has allowed Uniqlo to innovate and improve its Heattech product line, offering three levels of warmth suitable for various temperatures: Heattech Jersey - for use when temperatures are between 20°C and 5°C, Heattech Extra Warm - for cold days from 15°C down to -5°C, and Heattech Ultra Warm - for warmth when temperatures drop to -20°C.
Twenty-two years after creating Heattech, Uniqlo continues to innovate to ensure Heattech continues to meet the needs of wearers in modern life.
This winter, Uniqlo has added Heattech blended with Cashmere to its men's line, creating a more premium and stylish thermal shirt that keeps you warm on cold days.

The Heattech Extra Warm sweater is a cashmere blend sweater that uses about half the amount of yarn used in regular cashmere sweaters, offering the same warmth as a standard Heattech Extra Warm sweater but at only about 70% the weight.
The standout advantage of this jacket lies in the comfort and lightness that only cashmere fabric can provide. To create the Heattech cashmere blend that many are experiencing this winter, Uniqlo meticulously selected the ideal raw wool, used AI to verify the uniformity of the weave, and even designed the dyeing process to minimize the strain on the fabric.

Enjoy a milder winter with a Pufftech quilted jacket.
Alongside this, Pufftech – the latest collaboration between Uniqlo and Toray Industries – is Uniqlo's attempt to create a warm yet lightweight winter jacket by using a synthetic fiber that mimics the structure of natural down feathers.

Thanks to its ultra-fine fiber structure, only 1/5 the thickness of a human hair, and its hollow, 3D spiral design like a spring, this fiber can retain a large amount of air for insulation and warmth. The product is lightweight, helping wearers overcome the inconvenience of thick, heavy puffer jackets in winter.

Pufftech uses synthetic fibers, so it can be easily hand-washed at home with warm water and gentle rubbing at stains without losing its shape. This product line also dries faster than products that use down feathers.
Under conditions of 20°C and 65% humidity, the Pufftech women's vest can dry overnight. Additionally, the outer fabric and inner synthetic fibers are water-repellent, ensuring the vest retains its warmth even in light rain.
