Heattech - a new cashmere blend material, offering a more premium warming experience.
First launched in 2003, the result of years of research between Uniqlo and Toray Industries – a leading global fabric manufacturer – the Heattech thermal apparel line has revolutionized winter clothing, demonstrating the ability to keep you warm with just one layer of fabric.

Heattech is a synthetic fabric made from four types of fibers: rayon, acrylic, polyester, and polyurethane. When in contact with the skin, Heattech technology converts moisture from the body into heat, helping to retain warmth. After more than 20 years, Heattech has become the flagship garment representing Uniqlo's LifeWear technology and philosophy.

Starting in Fall/Winter 2025, the Heattech thermal apparel line continues to be updated with new materials, offering warmer, thinner, lighter, softer, and more fashionable everyday wear.
Specifically, Uniqlo introduced the Heattech Extra Warm Cashmere blend line for both men and women – a thermal shirt that combines the properties of synthetic fibers with the softness of cashmere wool.
With this product line, the polyester fibers in regular Heattech fabric are replaced with cashmere and blended with acrylic, rayon, and polyurethane fibers at a ratio of 9% cashmere, resulting in a product that is both soft and effectively retains heat.
According to Uniqlo, Heattech Extra Warm cashmere blend is 1.5 times warmer than regular Heattech and about 30% lighter than Heattech Extra Warm cotton.
Besides material upgrades, the Heattech Cashmere blend line also introduces two designs, crew neck and turtleneck, for men, and adds two new colors to the women's version.

Pufftech breakthroughs and the latest updates in design and color.
Developed since 2019, Pufftech is a synthetic fiber that mimics the structure of natural feathers, containing abundant air and achieving unprecedented lightness and warmth.
This is another result of the collaboration between Uniqlo and Toray Industries, realizing the idea of recreating the warmth of down while adding many new features to suit modern life.
Pufftech utilizes Japanese fiber technology with ultra-fine fibers, only 1/5 the thickness of a human hair, and a hollow 3D twisted structure that allows for maximum air retention within each fiber.
Pufftech fibers are interwoven to form round balls of cotton, which are quilted directly into the jacket, creating a warm yet flexible and durable quilted jacket.

Pufftech uses synthetic fibers, making it easy to hand-wash at home with warm water and gentle rubbing at stains without losing its shape. This product line also dries faster than products using down, and can be dry after being air-dried overnight.
At the same time, the outer fabric and inner synthetic fibers are water-repellent, helping the jacket maintain its warmth even in light rain.

For Autumn/Winter 2025, Uniqlo continues to introduce more new Pufftech designs for both men and women. Typical examples include the lightweight Pufftech quilted vest with a youthful design, and the Pufftech quilted jacket with a streamlined silhouette that allows for flexible movement.
In addition, the Pufftech clothing line's color palette also includes new, more youthful and vibrant colors such as yellow, orange-red, and blue.
