The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Provincial People's Council and representatives of departments, branches and sectors of Hung Yen province.
On the side of Hoa Phat Group, there were Mr. Hoang Quang Viet - Member of the Board of Directors of the Group, Chairman of Hoa Phat Real Estate Development Joint Stock Company; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao Nguyen - Deputy General Director of the Group; Mr. Tran Kien Cuong - Director of Hoa Phat Yen My Urban Development Joint Stock Company.
The project is located in Yen My commune, adjacent to Yen My II industrial park, adjacent to National Highway 39A and Provincial Road DT.200, 6km from National Highway 5A. This is an important traffic connection point in the area, only 4km from the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway interchange, convenient for traveling to Hai Phong seaport and key economic centers of the North. The project is located 30km from the center of Hanoi and 25km from Gia Binh International Airport. The synchronous traffic infrastructure system helps shorten travel time, while creating favorable conditions for trade and attracting investment.
According to the plan, the workers' housing area, social housing area, and Yen My II industrial park include 27 apartment buildings with a maximum height of 11 floors with a total floor area of nearly 580,000 m². The apartments have an area of 36 to 70 m², arranged with 1 to 3 bedrooms. The commercial townhouse area with a maximum height of 5 floors is built on an area of over 2.3 hectares.
The investor has allocated about 1.9 hectares for the central park axis, integrating a children's playground, jogging track, square, sports area, camping area, BBQ area and lake. The walking street is arranged along the low-rise buildings, and each apartment complex is arranged with community living spaces such as a community library, playground, walking path and utility services for residents. Social infrastructure includes a cultural house of more than 2,000 m², medical services of nearly 6,000 m², a school of 11,200 m² and a commercial service area of more than 4,500 m².
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee emphasized: "The project of workers' housing and social housing in Yen My II Industrial Park is an important milestone in the development process of the province, and at the same time demonstrates the joint efforts of the government, businesses and people for the goal of workers' welfare. The project meets the needs of stable and convenient housing, helps workers settle down, improves labor productivity and contributes directly to economic growth. Hung Yen province will continue to create favorable conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule, ensuring quality and efficiency."
Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony.
Mr. Tran Kien Cuong, Director of Hoa Phat Yen My Urban Development Joint Stock Company, shared: “The project of workers' housing and social housing in Yen My II industrial park is a specific step of Hoa Phat in response to the Government's program to develop at least 1 million social housing apartments by 2030. We are committed to implementing on schedule, ensuring quality and technical standards, creating a modern living environment with synchronous utilities, meeting the long-term housing needs of workers in industrial parks and local residents. With the support of authorities at all levels and functional agencies, when the project is completed, it will contribute to developing infrastructure and promoting the socio-economic development in Hung Yen.”
Regarding progress, the first apartment buildings will be completed and handed over for use in June 2027, contributing to solving urgent housing needs and improving the quality of life of workers in industrial parks and local people.
Previously, Hoa Phat had invested in urban real estate projects in Hanoi such as Mandarin Garden 1 & 2 Apartment Complex, 70 Nguyen Duc Canh Apartment Building, 257 Giai Phong Building. These projects are all located in the central area of Hanoi, have high liquidity and are highly appreciated by customers for their quality.
