Recently, a delegation from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, led by Vice Chairman Hoang Cong Thuy, visited and worked in China.

During his visit to China, Vice Chairman Hoang Cong Thuy held talks with Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Wang Dongfeng; met and exchanged views with leaders of the Shanghai CPPCC; attended and spoke at the 2024 China Economic and Social Forum; and attended the General Assembly meeting of the International Association of Economic and Social Councils. Joining in the joyful and vibrant atmosphere of the National Unity Day celebration in Thanh Ha village (An Phu commune, My Duc district, Hanoi ), on the afternoon of November 8th, a delegation from Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, led by journalist Nguyen Dang Khang, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, came to celebrate with the local people and presented meaningful gifts to disadvantaged families in An Phu commune. Strengthening mobilization among ethnic minority communities in the new situation.

In the current context, the work of the Fatherland Front in ethnic minority and mountainous areas is facing certain opportunities and challenges.

Paying attention to, researching, and understanding the advantages and disadvantages of mobilizing ethnic minority communities, while simultaneously developing solutions appropriate to the local situation, will contribute to the stability and sustainable development of ethnic minority and mountainous regions during the period of accelerated industrialization, modernization, and international integration. Dien Bien: Commendations given to many collectives and individuals for their contributions to ethnic affairs.

On November 8th, the People's Committee of Dien Bien province organized the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minority Representatives of Dien Bien province, with the theme "Promoting the heroic traditions of Dien Bien Phu; the people of ethnic groups in Dien Bien province unite, preserve the cultural identity of ethnic groups, develop socio-economic aspects, and ensure national defense and security."

Six collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Minister and Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities; five individuals were awarded the Commemorative Medal for the Development of Ethnic Minorities; and 30 collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien Province for their contributions to ethnic affairs and ethnic minority areas in Dien Bien Province. Hanoi Front: Critique of the Resolution on the Use of Public Assets in Public Non-Business Units

On November 8th, the Chairwoman of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee, Nguyen Lan Huong, chaired a social critique conference on the draft Resolution of the Hanoi City People's Council regulating the use of public assets at public non-business units under the city's management for business, leasing, joint ventures, and partnerships. The Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ha Tinh province has a new Vice Chairman.

On the morning of November 8th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province held its 3rd Conference, 15th term, 2024-2029. The conference addressed personnel matters, disseminated and thoroughly explained the results of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and outlined several key tasks for the coming period.

Ms. Ha Thi Viet Anh was nominated by consensus to be the Vice Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province, 15th term, 2024-2029. (See details)
