Asian Cup 2027 Rankings: Malaysia Takes Top Spot in Group F from Vietnam

A resounding 4-0 victory over Vietnam helped Malaysia rise to the top of Group F in the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

On the evening of June 10, the Vietnamese team suffered a heavy 0-4 defeat to Malaysia in the second match of Group F of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. Meanwhile, the Lao team had a valuable 2-1 victory over Nepal.

Traveling to the "holy land" of Bukit Jalil, coach Kim Sang Sik's team was predicted to face many difficulties, but few expected us to lose with such a big gap. Right before the match started, the Malaysian team successfully completed the procedures for 5 naturalized players of South American and Spanish origin.

The "Land of a Million Elephants" team got 3 valuable points in an extremely difficult group. Nepal accepted to be at the bottom of the group after not winning any points after 2 matches.

After losing heavily to Malaysia, the Vietnamese team is facing many difficulties in winning a ticket to the 2027 Asian Cup finals, because only the team at the top of the group will be allowed to continue.
