According to the Head of the Provincial Industrial Zones Management Board, Le Van Nhien, Long Phuoc Industrial Park was approved with an area of 38.7 hectares of land available for lease, including industrial land and technical infrastructure land. Currently, there are 7 valid projects with an area of about 22,289 hectares of land granted, 2 projects have been approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment but have sent a document requesting not to implement the project. The remaining area available for lease of Long Phuoc Industrial Park is about 10.77 hectares and does not include the 5,698 hectares expected to be leased to Thuan Phong Agricultural Products Processing Joint Stock Company.
Up to now, there are 4 enterprises in need of registering to rent land in Long Phuoc Industrial Park and 2 enterprises have been granted investment registration certificates but are requesting to rent more land.
The Head of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board said that the four enterprises registering to lease land all have financial potential, are investors with experience in production and business activities in the fields they have registered, the enterprises all contribute to the provincial budget, use local raw materials and have the ability to invest and operate the project well at Long Phuoc Industrial Park.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tam requested that the units fully report on the relevant contents and propose policies for secondary enterprises to invest in Long Phuoc Industrial Park so that the Provincial People's Committee can continue to consider, especially reporting on the investment plans of the investors.
For enterprises that have been granted an investment policy decision but cannot continue to implement the project, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requests to contact the investor again. If the investor does not continue to implement, the withdrawal procedures must be carried out in accordance with regulations.
Regarding the Thuan Phong 2 Agricultural Products Processing Factory Project of Thuan Phong Agricultural Products Processing Company Limited, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board to coordinate with departments and branches to have a meeting with investors to guide the process and procedures for land lease and tax payment in accordance with regulations. Urgently carry out this work.
