On June 5th, in Hanoi , the Nong Thon Ngay Nay Newspaper/Dan Viet Online Newspaper held a ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) and the 15th anniversary of the launch of Dan Viet Online Newspaper (June 8, 2010 - June 8, 2025) with the theme "Aspiration to Reach Further".
Over the past 15 years, the staff of Dan Viet Online Newspaper has consistently adhered to the principle of "Standing alongside Vietnamese farmers," partnering with businesses and striving to become a leading newspaper in disseminating information about agriculture, rural areas, and farmers. The Rural Today Newspaper/Dan Viet online newspaper has successfully organized 365 charitable programs with a total fundraising value of up to 111 billion VND, including the construction of 66 schools, 1 dormitory, 225 houses for the needy, and 50 bridges for the people. 5,000 scholarships, 10,000 bicycles, 101 vegetable gardens and wells, and 1 million seedlings and livestock have been provided to disadvantaged individuals and families under preferential policies.
At the ceremony, Dan Viet online newspaper launched "Dan Viet Version 5.0" - a version with many technological and interface innovations, updated with many superior features, and supported by artificial intelligence.
On this occasion, Dan Viet Online Newspaper was honored to receive the Government's Emulation Flag, Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Journalists Association, etc., recognizing the contributions of the Dan Viet newspaper staff over the past 15 years.
Hai Duong Arts and Literature Magazine in the flow of journalism
On June 5th, the Hai Duong Provincial Association of Literature and Arts organized a seminar on "Hai Duong Literature and Arts Magazine in the Flow of the Province's Journalism."
This is an opportunity for writers and journalists in the province to assess the achievements of the Hai Duong Arts and Literature Magazine, opening up a new future in the current flow of journalism. Through this, artists and writers can contribute heartfelt opinions to build the magazine into a truly reliable and effective forum, contributing to the building and development of the homeland and the country in the new era.
For nearly 50 years, Hai Duong Arts and Literature Magazine has consistently upheld its core purpose as a legitimate publication within the provincial press system, serving as a forum for artists and writers to express their voices. The magazine has published thousands of literary and artistic works across various genres, reflecting the voices, love, and passion for literature and art. Hai Duong Arts and Literature has become one of the top 10 high-quality magazines among provincial and city arts and literature associations, enjoying widespread readership. Furthermore, the magazine has published numerous high-quality scientific research papers, contributing to the promotion, dissemination, preservation, and development of the cultural essence of Hai Duong and the national culture.
Journalist Truong Thi Thuong Huyen, President of the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, emphasized: Delegates and artists focused on clarifying issues such as: the formation and development of the Hai Duong Literature and Arts Magazine within the common foundation of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism; the characteristics of genres in creative works; and the efforts and endeavors of the staff in building and developing the magazine. Delegates also discussed the opportunities and challenges of journalism in the digital age; and shared memories from their collaborations and creative work in journalism.
Author Kim Xuyen, from the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, addressed the need to innovate and improve the quality of the Magazine. According to her, the Magazine should continue to be flexible in terms of the number of sections and operating methods, both in content and form, adding sections according to the actual situation in each stage. The Magazine should continue to guide public opinion towards the values of truth, goodness, and beauty, as well as social ethics, conveying information and events to contribute to the provincial press agencies' efforts in disseminating the Party and State's policies, guidelines, and laws...
