Thanh Nien Newspaper won the A prize for impressive events and activities at the 2025 National Newspaper Festival

Thanh Nien Newspaper is one of three press units honored to win the A prize for impressive events and activities at the 2025 National Press Festival.

On the afternoon of June 21, at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ), the closing ceremony of the 2025 National Press Festival took place, attracting the attention of news agencies, the press and the public.

Journalist Quang Duan, Deputy General Secretary of Thanh Nien Newspaper, received the A prize for impressive events and activities at the 2025 National Press Festival from the organizing committee.

At the closing ceremony, the voting council awarded 5 A prizes, 7 B prizes, 16 C prizes, 19 consolation prizes for impressive display booths; awarded 3 A prizes, 3 B prizes, 12 C prizes to units with impressive events; awarded 8 A prizes, 14 B prizes, 20 C prizes, 15 consolation prizes for impressive press products.

In particular, Thanh Nien Newspaper was honored to win the A prize for impressive events and activities along with military press units and the National Assembly Office Journalists Association.

Speaking at the conclusion of the 2025 National Press Festival, journalist Nguyen Duc Loi, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association and Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2025 National Press Festival, said that after 3 days of exciting activities, the press festival was a great success.

The 2025 National Press Festival brings together 124 central and local press units, with nearly 130 unique press booths of newspapers and magazines.

Many press agencies demonstrated multi-platform press products, applying new technologies such as AI, 3D modeling, holofan, virtual reality, etc., showing a panoramic picture of the professional and modern development of Vietnamese press.

The cheerful and open atmosphere between journalists and the public created a warm and friendly press conference, helping the public better understand the journalism profession and the sacrifices and efforts of journalists. This is truly a great encouragement and motivation for Vietnamese journalists.

"The National Press Association has highlighted the contributions and strong development of Vietnam's revolutionary press over the past 100 years, while promoting press products, labor achievements and creativity of journalists and members of the Vietnam Journalists Association nationwide," said Mr. Loi.

Mr. Loi assessed that the most outstanding point of the National Press Festival 2025 is the clear demonstration of the trend of digital transformation and technology application in journalism. Thematic forums on artificial intelligence in journalism, digital journalism human resources, journalism economics... have attracted great attention, proving that these are issues that we are struggling with and looking for solutions.

At the 2025 National Press Festival, Thanh Nien Newspaper exhibited with the theme "100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism - 40 years of Thanh Nien Newspaper accompanying the country". The exhibition booth was built as a multidimensional space, combining the image of a historical ship, symbolizing the nearly 40-year journey of Thanh Nien Newspaper and an interactive spaceship model metaphorizing the future, innovation, demonstrating the transformation from tradition to modernity, where AI technology becomes the foundation to elevate journalism.

The exhibition booth also introduces products such as: Tet newspaper, New Year issue, New Year's issue, 7 weekly printed issues, books, 21.6 special issue and many other publications along with the newspaper's programs and activities. Notably, at the Thanh Nien Newspaper exhibition booth, there are activities such as exchanges with singer Trong Tan, portrait sketches...
