Introducing the image of "city for peace , city of martial arts and creativity"
The Ho Chi Minh City International Martial Arts Festival, with the theme "Vietnamese Martial Arts - Connecting Peace" is an annual international sports and cultural event organized by the Department of Culture and Sports. The festival is held to honor the martial spirit of Vietnam, promote the image of a country that loves peace, humanity and integration; at the same time, expand international exchanges, promote cooperation in the fields of sports, culture and tourism between Vietnam and friends around the world.
The event is not only a festival of martial arts but also a forum for global cultural exchange, where the quintessence of Vietnamese martial arts is connected with international martial arts. Through the festival, Ho Chi Minh City affirms its pioneering role in building a civilized, modern, dynamic and humane city, while introducing the image of "a city for peace, a city of martial arts and creativity" to friends around the world .

The Ho Chi Minh City International Martial Arts Festival promises to bring many exciting competitions, taking place from November 21 to 23.

The Ho Chi Minh City International Martial Arts Festival takes place from November 21 to 23, on Le Loi Street, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. This year's event is expected to attract international martial arts delegations from: Korea, China, India, France, Poland, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and more than 20 domestic martial arts delegations, along with thousands of martial arts masters, coaches, students and martial arts lovers.
The opening ceremony of the event took place on November 21, with a martial arts performance combining traditional arts, modern sound and light. The International Martial Arts Festival took place on November 22 and 23, with performances of forms, techniques and ensemble performances of Vietnamese schools/disciplines. The closing event on the evening of November 23: honoring outstanding martial artists and excellent troupes; performing the art "Vietnamese martial arts spirit - from Ho Chi Minh City spreading the quintessence to the world".

This year's event attracted international martial arts delegations from Korea, China, India, France, Poland, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and more than 20 martial arts delegations in Vietnam.

In addition to taekwondo, karate, aikido, kendo, wushu... typical Vietnamese martial arts such as vovinam, Tan Khanh Ba Tra, Tay Son Binh Dinh, Hung Gia qigong will also be performed for martial arts fans to enjoy.
Notably, on the morning of November 22, Le Loi Street was also the place where the departure ceremony of the Vietnamese sports delegation from the southern region to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand took place. The departure ceremony was integrated with a special meaning, encouraging and raising the spirit of the city's athletes on their journey to conquer the 33rd SEA Games.
