Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Bui Thanh Liem - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Head of the 31st Mai Vang Award Organizing Committee, said that over the past 3 decades, the Mai Vang Award has not only honored artists with many contributions but also expanded its mission through 2 components: Mai Vang for Charity and Mai Vang for Gratitude, honoring generations of artists, intellectuals, veteran revolutionaries, medical staff, and teachers who have devoted their lives to the country.

At the program, the organizers presented the Mai Vang Award of Gratitude to poet Le Minh Quoc and the Mai Vang Award of Charity to artist Trang Bich Lieu. Poet Le Minh Quoc expressed: "When I received the invitation, I was very surprised, happy, and proud because the Mai Vang Award has been over for more than 3 decades. I am very honored, touched, and grateful!". He also read a poem to present the Mai Vang Award. Meanwhile, artist Trang Bich Lieu sent her thanks with the vọng cổ verse Ben cau det lua .
Que Tran and Ly Hung remember the memories of receiving the Mai Vang award.
Artists who have won the Mai Vang Award such as Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long, People's Artist Que Tran, musician Hamlet Truong, and actor Ly Hung participated in the exchange at the program.
Actor Ly Hung said he received the Mai Vang award for his role as King Quang Trung in the film Tay Son Hao Kiet. At the time he was honored with the award, he was filming in Hanoi and could not return. Later, in a gala program to serve the audience, the actor and singer Cam Ly were honored and received the Mai Vang statue. "When I received the Mai Vang award, I felt extremely happy. I hope this award will always develop further to honor artists who can devote themselves to art," he said.

Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long proposed to separate the drama and reformed opera categories. Actor Ly Hung contributed 30 million VND to the Mai Vang Nhan Ai program.

In addition, Ly Hung expressed his emotions when listening to artist Trang Bich Lieu sing vọng cổ. He said that the female artist was very close to his family, with his late father, People's Artist Ly Huynh. On this occasion, the actor also donated 30 million VND to Mai Vang Charity to support older artists.
Meritorious Artist Kim Tu Long said that Mai Vang is an award that all artists want to touch. However, he hopes that in the following seasons, the organizing committee will separate the categories of drama and reformed opera, because of the characteristics of each art form. The male artist confided: "Reformed opera not only has main actors but also supporting actors, comedians, comedians, old actors, and actors who want to touch the Mai Vang award once, not just the main actors. I wish the award to develop more. I will contribute my singing voice to the programs to give gifts at the scene, organize ticket sales, and call on sponsors to support the artists."

As for People's Artist Que Tran, the Mai Vang award is a very special memory on her artistic path. The female artist said that when she was only 18 years old, she was extremely happy to receive both the Tran Huu Trang award and the Mai Vang award. Que Tran emotionally expressed: "I still remember that time, both my father, People's Artist Thanh Tong, and I received the Mai Vang award in 1999. It's been a very long journey, I have been closely associated with this award in many different roles, sometimes receiving the award, sometimes being an MC, performing, presenting the award... No matter what role I play, I feel honored and proud to participate. A prestigious and prestigious award that perhaps every artist hopes to have a good work, a good role, a song that is well received by everyone at the end of the year to be present at this award", People's Artist Que Tran shared.
