Vietnam Pho Festival is organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore, Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Saigon Tourist Group in collaboration with the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, the Liaison Committee of Vietnamese people in Singapore under the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
Having had two very fun and memorable Vietnam Pho Festival seasons in Japan and Korea, Hamlet Truong said he is "counting the days to go to Singapore to sing for the audience at this year's Vietnam Pho Festival".
The previous two Vietnam Pho Festivals were "extremely fun"
Hamlet Truong shared that the two previous times he performed at the Vietnam Pho Festival in Japan and Korea had many good memories, so this year, when he received an invitation to participate in the Vietnam Pho Festival in Singapore, he immediately accepted.
"In Korea, after listening to Hamlet Truong sing "Say Go, Go", some Korean audiences proactively searched for information on YouTube, fanpages and used Google Translate to write comments in Vietnamese, expressing their love for his performance", the singer said " music as well as pho/ or cuisine, has overcome language barriers to connect people in faraway places, of different nationalities and territories, closer together.
The Vietnam Pho Festival in Japan was "extremely crowded and lovely. The two days of performance there were very enthusiastic, they responded to almost every song, the atmosphere was very cozy even though it had been rainy a few days before".
This year, Hamlet Truong is "very proud to continue singing at the Vietnam Pho Festival" because for him, this is not just a music program but also an event to spread culture and promote pho in foreign countries.

Pho, ao dai, broken rice are "images of home"
He considers himself a loyal person, always attached to something, from friends, phone numbers to food. Hamlet Truong can eat pho or broken rice all day without getting bored.
In Ho Chi Minh City, he often eats Pho Le or some northern pho restaurants. Even though he has the opportunity to travel to many places in the world , he still looks for Pho to eat.
"But it's true that eating pho in Vietnam is always better than pho in other countries. Therefore, Truong believes that enjoying a bowl of authentic pho in a foreign land is a very rare experience and brings great happiness to overseas Vietnamese," the singer said.
Hamlet Truong added that the Vietnam Pho Festival coming to Singapore will be a meaningful festival for the Vietnamese community, the local community, their families and international friends to come and eat pho, chat happily and meet Vietnamese artists.

"Truong promised himself that after 3 years of attending the Vietnam Pho Festival, next year if Tuoi Tre newspaper continues to invite me, I will compose a song dedicated to pho. Just wait," the singer excitedly said, "I planned to write it this year but I didn't have time."
After nearly two decades of singing about love, Hamlet Truong said he feels "that's enough", wishing to expand to other topics, especially homeland, including pho. In his imagination and most closely associated experiences, a bowl of pho, an ao dai or a plate of broken rice are "the image of home".
The singer added that this year, besides looking forward to enjoying a delicious bowl of pho to satisfy his stomach after performing, he also hopes to have the opportunity to experience games (because Singapore produces many famous game titles).
