Normally, clubs only "release" players for major tournaments. After all, SEA Games is only a playground in Southeast Asia, so it is not easy for teams in strong volleyball countries like Japan to agree to let their players join the national team.

The Vietnamese striker has consistently appeared on the list of Gunma Green Wings' top scorers. Therefore, it is even more difficult for this club to allow Thanh Thuy to join the national team.

However, according to the investigation, Gunma Green Wings still accepted the offer of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team. This means that Thanh Thuy will be able to compete at the 33rd SEA Games.

This can be considered good news for coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet. For many years, the girl born in 1997 has always been a pillar of the team thanks to her comprehensive offensive and defensive abilities. In addition, Thanh Thuy is also a strong support in terms of spirit, so that is the reason she was chosen as captain even though there was a time when she rarely played due to injury.

In addition to Thanh Thuy, middle blocker Tran Thi Bich Thuy will also be sent to the SEA Games by another Japanese club, Okayama Seagulls. So in general, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will almost have the best force. Only the case of Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen is unclear, because she may be injured.
