The Vietnamese Sports Delegation is expected to attend the 33rd SEA Games with more than 1,000 members, including athletes, coaches, doctors, medical staff and team leaders.
Vietnamese sports will compete in 45 out of 66 sports and sub-sports, of which 40 are paid for by the state budget and 5 are socialized (Billiards, Figure Skating, E-Sports, Baseball & Softball, MMA).
The goal of Vietnam Sports is to strive to be in the top of the entire delegation, winning 80-100 gold medals. Especially hoping to win the first place in the region in some events such as Athletics, Karate, Wrestling and improve the ranking in key events such as Boxing, Cycling, Swimming, Shooting and Fencing.
