Among the countless masterpieces that have made his name, Messi has just surprisingly revealed that the goal against Man United in the 2009 Champions League final is his favorite goal in his illustrious career.

"I have scored many goals that are probably more beautiful and of great value. But the header in the Champions League final against Man United will always be my favorite goal," Messi told ESPN.

The Argentine striker has scored more than 800 goals in his career. This memorable strike was Barca's second in a 2-0 win over Man United. And it brought Messi his first Champions League title.

The 8-time Ballon d'Or winner chose this goal as part of his charity campaign "A Goal in Life". He collaborated with renowned artist Refik Anadol to create a unique work of art.

"I already know how special Refik's works are. We had the chance to meet in Miami. And it will be interesting to discover how he can turn a goal, a moment in sport into a unique work of art like what he creates," Messi expressed.

The artwork will then be signed by Messi and the artist and auctioned off, with all proceeds going to charity.

Artist Refik Anadol shared: "Leo Messi's goal is a pinnacle moment in sports. By integrating biosensor technology and advanced AI systems, we are exploring a new frontier in AI art, where data becomes emotions and memories take on a more tangible form."
