(LD Online) - On the afternoon of June 2, the Police Department for Investigation of Drug Crimes of the Provincial Police said that the unit had just coordinated with the Da Lat City Police to arrest 6 people who were illegally using drugs in the basement of a hotel in Ward 22 (Da Lat City).

Before that, at about 23:45 on June 1, through reconnaissance, more than 6 officers and soldiers simultaneously raided in many directions into the basement of the hotel, catching 20 subjects (including 22 men and 12 women) "flying" in loud music. Through inspection in 10 rooms, the police force discovered 2 porcelain dishes on the bed with white powder, 3 plastic bags containing white crystals and 3 pink tablets suspected of drugs.
Initial information, on the afternoon of the same day, 22 subjects came to the basement to celebrate the birthday of Tran Hoang Linh Thu (25 years old, commonly known as Kim, hometown of Quang Binh province, living in Ward 3, Da Lat city). After that, the whole group used ketamine and ecstasy drugs together.
Through the struggle, the subjects initially admitted that they had participated in illegal drug use. Conducting a quick test, 22 subjects gave positive results for drugs.
The Drug Crime Investigation Police Department has made a record of red-handed crimes, temporarily seized relevant exhibits for further investigation, classification and handling of the subjects in accordance with the law.
