Closing Ceremony of the 2026 Excellent Party Branch Secretary Competition

The 2026 Excellent Party Branch Secretary Competition took place from May 21st to 22nd with the participation of 58 contestants. According to the organizing committee, the contestants demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility, a firm grasp of the basic principles and content of Party building work and resolution drafting; they possessed solid methods and demeanor, and were capable of presiding over and managing Party branch meetings… The organizing committee ensured the best conditions for the competition to proceed as planned.

At the conclusion of the competition, the City Military Party Committee awarded certificates of merit to 7 individuals who won first, second, third, and consolation prizes. Among them, Major Nguyen Van Den, Secretary of the Party Branch of An Thanh Ba Border Guard Station, Party Committee of the Border Guard Command, won first prize. The City Military Party Committee also awarded certificates to 58 outstanding Party branch secretaries in 2026.

In his closing remarks at the competition, Colonel Pham Ngoc Quang requested that Party committees and commanders of agencies and units continue to thoroughly understand the Party's viewpoint on the position and role of Party branches and the team of Party branch secretaries; regularly pay attention to training and improving the skills and knowledge of Party committee members and Party branch secretaries. Agencies and units should strictly maintain the discipline and principles of Party activities; effectively implement Directive No. 50-CT/TW dated July 23, 2025, of the Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of Party branch activities in the new period; and promote the results of the competition to replicate good models and effective practices… Thereby creating a competitive spirit throughout the Party Committee of the City Military Command, contributing to building a clean, strong, and exemplary Party organization, and a comprehensively strong armed force of the city, meeting the requirements of national defense in the new situation.
