The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Health Do Xuan Tuyen; Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, along with leaders of various departments and agencies, and a large number of medical staff and employees of the hospital from different periods.
Having inherited its predecessor, the Viet Duc Hospital in Da Nang, after the liberation in 1975, Da Nang C Hospital has undergone 50 years of development and growth, gradually establishing itself as one of the important tertiary general hospitals in the Central and Central Highlands regions.

As a first-class hospital under the Ministry of Health, the unit not only performs the task of providing healthcare for senior and high-ranking officials of the Party and State, but also serves as a reliable medical examination and treatment center for people in the region.
From a healthcare facility facing numerous challenges, the hospital has now developed significantly in scale and professional quality, mastering many advanced techniques and investing in modern equipment.

A prominent milestone in the development of Da Nang C Hospital is the establishment and development of many leading fields such as: cardiology, stroke, oncology, intensive care, rehabilitation, hemodialysis, and other specialized techniques.
In particular, in 2025, the hospital will be classified by the Ministry of Health as a highly specialized technical hospital, affirming its capacity and reputation within the national healthcare system.
