Previously, at around 10:00 a.m. on November 16, while fishing for seafood in the sea 32 nautical miles south of Truong Sa Island, Mr. Tran Hoai Sang, 37 years old, Ward 6, Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province, felt tired, coughed, had difficulty breathing, and self-medicating did not help.
The patient was taken to Truong Sa Island Infirmary by fishing boat PY 90036 TS captained by Mr. Mai Ngoc Hieu, born in 1986, Ward 6, Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province, for emergency treatment at 7:30 a.m. on November 18. After that, the doctors and nurses conducted emergency tests on blood count, blood biochemistry, emergency X-ray, fever reduction, electrolyte rehydration, oxygen therapy, antihistamine antibiotics, prophylactic antibiotics, vital signs monitoring and general condition monitoring.
Initial treatment results, the patient currently has stable vital signs M84 breaths/min, blood pressure 125/80 mmHg, SPO2 98%; the patient is alert, responsive, still has a fever of 38 degrees Celsius, less tired, and there is still a maculopapular rash scattered all over the body.
The patient will continue to be monitored and treated conservatively by doctors at the infirmary; closely monitor the patient's condition and promptly report any abnormalities.
